Deciding which brand of air fryer to purchase can be a little intimidating. I Googled “Amazon air fryers” and got a list of 29 units ranging from $30 to $390. How does a person know which ones will do what we all hear air fryers can do? We read the reviews, right? That’s why you came here.
I’m going to share with you the following information about the Audew 12-liter, 1700-watt air fryer, along with some of my experiences using the unit.
The air fryer is really the next generation of convection ovens. Both use hot air that is circulated by a fan to cook food faster and more evenly than a conventional oven. The air fryer just does it more efficiently and is designed to provide a crispy fried texture with little or no oil.
Time: I recently air-fried a 5-pound chicken in 45 minutes. In a conventional oven, it would have taken about an hour and a half. Check the internal temperature of the chicken to be sure it reaches 165°F.
Four potatoes will take 50–60 minutes in the oven. In the Audew air fryer, they should be out in 30–40 minutes. Let me make a comment here about potatoes in the air fryer. They are great. The skins are crisp and brown, and the inside is fluffy without being dry. These are better than baking them in the oven or the microwave.
Less oil or no oil at all: It’s up to you. Olive oil contains 120 calories per tablespoon. Here is a good way to cut back on a few calories.
The left end of the rotisserie basket that attaches to the rotisserie mechanism. Slide it straight in. Do this step before doing the right side.
The Audew air fryer is an amazing appliance that gives you many options for meal preparation, saves time, and eliminates the calories from oil if you choose to go oil-free. It is fun to experiment with different recipes that will impress your family with how quickly you whipped up that roasted chicken dinner.
Based on my use of this product, I highly recommend it to anyone who is searching the market for an air fryer.

Theresa, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Audew air fryer. I agree. It is the best one available.
Theresa Cunningham on August 02, 2020:
We have had the Audew for 8 months and my husband and I love it. I have roasted a 6lb whole
chicken tied up and stuffed with lemons and onions. You have to watch the tray for liquids but it was the most tender chicken we've ever had. Much better than 2-3 hours to oven roast one. Also have cooked roasted veggies, burgers, sausage dogs, small southern mac and cheese in a temptations dish. Chocolate cake, roasted tomatoes, bagel pizzas, fluffy eggs. It is the best one we have ever owned.

Shauna, I don't think you will be disappointed. It is not a miracle machine, but it definitely has its place in the kitchen. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Great review, Chris. Using the air fryer would eliminated the kitchen getting hot as when you use the conventional oven. I love that it does a better job of baking potatoes. Gotta have that crispy skin!

Nikki, you are right about how it cooks chicken and potatoes. It also roasts vegetables and dries fruit. Thanks for reading.
Nikki Khan from London on November 17, 2019:
I have seen it on Amazon Chris, would give it a go. This is quite healthy way of roasting chicken or potatoes. Thanks for reviewing it.

Liz, thank you for that feedback. There are so many choices these days for everything. We should just start trading stuff around after we've used it for a while.

Pamela, I have heard about the insta-pot. People how own them really like them. I travel for my work. I already have too much of a kitchen that I drag around. I'll stick with my air fryer for now.

This is a very thorough and useful review. It contains all the information any potential buyer might need and it has opened my eyes to a product that I was unaware of.
Pamela Oglesby from Sunny Florida on November 17, 2019:
I haven't been too interested in getting an air fryer, but you article sure gives an excellent review. I got an InstaPot earlier this year and I like it. I have to decide if I want another appliance on my counter.
I think the Audew Air Fryer sounds like a great appliance to cook food a bit differently and I may have to rethink my objections.

Good to know, Bro. We are moving fast with electronics! I saw a car recently, which, with the touch of a remote, parks itself. Ha ha. True, Bro. Have a nice Sunday.
Chris Mills (author) from Traverse City, MI on November 17, 2019:
Manatita, it operates by circulating the hot air constantly in a confined space. That is the difference between the air fryer and a normal oven. It cooks things much faster. Yes, it is great for preparing vegetables. You can use it to dry fruit. I saw an air fried tofu recipe. Thanks for reading.
manatita44 from london on November 17, 2019:
Bro, I didn't even know what this was! Certainly never heard of it! It looks like a very cute version of a microwave.
Glad you like it and your article is certainly informative. Can it be used by vegetarians?
